RealTime Help

Learning new software is time consuming for all of us, particularly for those people who need a little coaching. Often, this support is requested from someone they know and trust, who can take them through the basics. However, as these mentors are usually experts in their own right, they are often not available to provide either the extent of support requested, or at a time which is mutually convenient. What might start out as a perceived short-term commitment can easily end up as a major time-investment, with the beginner becoming frustrated with their own lack of progress, and the expert / tutor being diverted from other tasks with which they are charged, and unable to meet the demands such support would place on their time. Result : Not a fun day!

RealTime Help provides a surrogate coaching system that the beginner can consult every second he is using the software, without the need to bother an expert with minor queries.

Activated by the position of the mouse-pointer, the RealTime Help window updates as the mouse moves, providing information not only on the object beneath the pointer, but also a forecaster, which tells the user what would happen if they were to click the mouse at that moment. As the user gains confidence, they can turn off that particular help topic, and thus raise their score (see RealTime Score).

User-manuals? Why bother? RealTime Help is always right there when you need it, it’s eco-friendly, less intimidating to the beginner, and it doesn't even take up any shelf-space.
